Discover Kingsborough Community College (KCC)
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn, Kingsborough Community College (KCC) is the only community college in New York City with its own private beach and marina. With breathtaking views of Sheepshead Bay and access to the Atlantic Ocean, KCC offers a one-of-a-kind learning environment.

KCC serves a diverse population of students and is known for its award-winning academic programs, strong student support services, and commitment to student success and equity. The college offers a wide range of associate degree and certificate programs in fields such as liberal arts, health sciences, business, criminal justice, culinary arts, and marine technology.

As part of the CUNY Explorers program, KCC invites middle and high school students to experience college life firsthand and to start thinking about their future college and career goals early.

IN-PERSON TOUR EXPERIENCE:
During your visit to Kingsborough Community College, your students will experience:

🏫 Campus Walking Tour:
Led by current KCC student ambassadors, the tour will showcase Kingsborough’s unique features including its waterfront views, state-of-the-art science and culinary labs, athletic facilities, library, and marine academic programs.

πŸŽ“ Student Panel Discussion:
Engage with college students as they share their personal journeys from middle/high school to college. Students will offer practical tips for success, reflections on how they prepared for college, and insights into life at KCC.

🧠 Interactive Workshop Sessions:
Students will participate in workshops designed to help them understand the steps they can take now to prepare for college. Topics include how to apply to specialized programs, how to build a strong academic foundation, and how to get involved in high-impact extracurricular activities.

Important Group Size Policy
🚨 Please adhere to the following strict group caps:
During the School Year: Maximum 60 students per visit

During the Summer Rising Program: Maximum 30 students per visit

⚠️ Groups exceeding these limits may be turned away or required to reschedule. Please confirm your numbers accurately when registering.
